At Misfits, with the guidance of Veterinarians, we feel it is safer to spay and neuter animals closer to 6 months of age. Fostering to adopt allows you to welcome a new family member into your home prior to them being fully vetted and ready to leave Misfits. All vet expenses that Misfits would normally cover are still covered, but you now get to enjoy the cuddles and excitement of a young pup or kitten!

We will be contacting you regarding the future vet appointments that are required for your new resident and when the time comes that they are fully vetted, we will be able to complete the Adoption Contract so that they are officially a member of your family!
